Do You Trust Me? Learning to Trust God More Fully in Life’s Uncertainties

“Do you trust me?”

I can’t tell you how many times that question has come from the Holy Ghost over the last few months.

An unexpected letter from the IRS.

“Do you trust me?”

How do I help my business grow?

“Do you trust me?”

How do I deal with conflict?

“Do you trust me?”

Shootings? Death?

“Do you trust me?”

I feel a bit like Peter from The New Testament when asked by Christ, “Do you love me?”

Of course my answer is YES! The thing is, I know God knows I trust Him. So, why the question?

Do I need to trust even MORE? Fear even LESS? Doubt even LESS? Move forward in faith even MORE?

All YES!

So when I went to mosaic window class last night I decided to make trust the focus of my project! There’s also a sun to represent the light that comes from Jesus Christ, the light of the world! There’s ocean because that is the place that helps me remember how small I am in the grand scheme of things and to have a sense of the grandeur of God. I don’t know how soon the Savior will be returning to the earth. I hope it’s soon! But in the meantime, I am going to trust the Him and continue to move forward!
